1 litre water
1/2 cup Apple Cider Vinegar (with 'mother' in it)
2 tablespoons ground turmeric powder OR 80g/3ozs. fresh turmeric, scrubbed and finely chopped (or in food processor)
2 inch knob fresh ginger, sliced thinly
1 tsp ground pepper
1/3 cup raw honey or to taste
Optional- add juice 1 lime/lemon or 1 tbs tamarind paste
Place the water, turmeric and fresh ginger onto boil and once it starts boiling simmer uncovered for 15 minutes.
Turn off heat and when it cools down stir in the honey (the amount depending on taste)and apple cider vinega.
Strain if you're using fresh turmeric.
Bottle and consume 30ml shot daily!
